Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Which type of perfume lasts the longest?
Ans.Eau de Parfum (EDP) typically lasts the longest among common perfume types (eg, EDC, EDT, etc. ). It contains 15-20% fragrance oil, offering a rich scent that can last 6 to 8 hours or more, depending on your skin type and environment.
Q. Do our perfumes contain Alcohol?
Ans. No, our perfumes do not contain regular alcohol. We use "perfumer's alcohol," a plant-based ethanol derived from sugarcane, which is different from drinking alcohol and not meant for consumption. You can enjoy your fragrance anytime, anywhere!
Q. Does perfume stay better on skin or clothes?
Ans. Perfume lasts longer on clothes but smells stronger on the skin due to body heat. For the best effect, apply to both.
Q. How long does a perfume last?
Ans. Sigma Style perfumes are crafted specifically for the Indian climate, ensuring they last longer. On average, they stay on the skin for6 to 8 hoursand even longer on clothing. For the best experience, apply the perfume to pulse points like your wrists, neck, and behind the ears this helps the fragrance diffuse and linger throughout the day.

My partner and I both started using Mercury and neither of us feels the fragrance does not belong to us. The powdery note reads slightly differently on each of our skin types but both results are beautiful.
After 30 minutes Mercury does not smell like perfume on skin. It smells like the most beautiful version of your own skin. That is very difficult to achieve in a fragrance.
Most powdery fragrances feel heavy or old fashioned. Mercury manages to be soft and powdery without either quality. Feels modern and light. I wear it every day and never feel overdone.
Spent a lot on fragrances searching for the right date night scent. Mercury is it. Better than a Rs 4000 branded EDP I owned. The musky intimate quality is exactly what you want in close proximity.
Gifted Mercury to three couples I know for their anniversaries. Told them it is a shared fragrance. All three couples now use it together.
Used Mercury on a dinner date and my partner kept leaning in to smell my neck 😂 That's all the review you need honestly. Ordered another one the next morning. It's powdery but not at all old fashioned it somehow feels modern and classic at the same time.
Rohan this review literally made us laugh out loud! That is the highest form of compliment Mercury could receive. Thank you for sharing and happy date nights ahead 😄 Team Sigma Style

I assumed at this price point the longevity would be mediocre. Seven hours on skin with the 30ml. On my scarf it lasted three days. Very happy to be wrong about this.
On skin Mercury is present for 5 to 6 hours comfortably. On fabric it is something else entirely. My cardigan smelled of it two days after I wore it. The musky base has incredible staying power.
I find myself spraying Mercury not when I need to but when I want to. That is the sign of a fragrance you genuinely love rather than just use. Six months in my daily rotation.
I've been looking for a skin close powdery fragrance for a while. Everything mainstream is either too loud or too synthetic. Mercury is neither. It's refined, soft and stays close to the skin. You have to be near someone to smell it and that's exactly the point. Perfect for evening wear.
Pallavi, you described Mercury better than we could have ourselves! That close-to-skin intimacy is intentional and we're so glad it resonated with you. Thank you for this beautiful review! Team Sigma Style
Been looking for a skin close powdery fragrance for a while. Everything mainstream is either too loud or too synthetic. Mercury is neither. Refined, soft, stays close to the skin. You have to be near someone to smell it.
I use different fragrances for day and evening. Mercury is my evening choice, always. The musky dry down deepens beautifully as the hours pass. By hour four it is at its best.
Some fragrances feel like a statement. Mercury feels like a habit. The kind you do not think about because it is just there doing its job quietly and perfectly. Four months in and never bored of it.
My mother usually only wears expensive department store fragrances. She was sceptical about Mercury. Within one week she had asked me to order her the 50ml.
Mercury smells like it should cost significantly more. Powdery floral musky combination is beautifully balanced. Quiet but with character. Received a compliment at each of three formal events.
Been wearing Mercury to office for three months. At least once a week someone asks what I am wearing. Powdery fragrances often intimidate people but Mercury is approachable without being generic.
I spray Mercury when I sit down to study or work from home. Something about the soft musky note creates a calm focused atmosphere. I work better with it on.
Wore Mercury to my own sister's wedding. Multiple family members asked what it was. It has that quiet elegance that suits formal photography settings where some fragrances feel wrong.
The scent itself is beautiful, really genuinely beautiful. My only wish is slightly more projection in the opening. It becomes skin close quite quickly. For intimate occasions this is a feature though.
I work in healthcare and need something non-invasive. Mercury sits close to skin, never projects aggressively, and does not clash with clinical environments. Yet I still feel like I am wearing something meaningful.
There is a version of powdery fragrance that smells like your grandmother is wardrobe. Mercury is not that. It is classical in sensibility but modern in execution. Spans generations beautifully.
